Cloud Operating System (Cloud OS)
What is a Cloud Operating System (Cloud OS)?
Also known as a “virtual operating system,” a cloud operating system is a unique type of operating system that’s been specifically designed to function within a cloud computing and/or virtualization environment. While carrying out its duties, a cloud OS effectively manages the essential operating processes required to manage virtual infrastructures (and, in some cases, the back-end hardware or software resources, as well).
Operating is Made Easy with Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage
Cloud operating systems are beneficial because they allow the end users to manage their tasks while on the go through a number of devices, including tablets and netbooks, in a manner similar to what would be done on a desktop. Even more important, however, is the fact that cloud operating systems enhance employee productivity by enabling the faster delivery of applications across private, public, and hybrid clouds. When it comes to operating systems - and the topic of cloud storage in general - we at Wasabi believe everything should be made as simple, secure, and affordable as possible. That’s why Wasabi avoids the confusing storage tiers and convoluted pricing schemes associated with legacy cloud storage services to give our customers predictable, affordable, and easily operable cloud services, regardless of whether they’re using a private, public, or hybrid solution.
